A great ride rarely ends when the engine stops. Whether it’s a fuel stop, a hike to a viewpoint or an evening exploring town, riders need boots that work as well on foot as they do on the pegs – and that’s exactly what LS2 has made with the Torrent.
Comfort is key to enjoying any journey, so an ergonomic, sweat-absorbing insole keeps feet fresh on long days, while the premium 3D mesh outer shell provides ventilation to stop overheating.
Designed to deal with the multiple conditions riders often encounter, they have a 10,000mm H2O waterproof rating combined with 6,000g/m²/24h breathability, to keep rain out without sealing sweat in.
On the bike, the 3D polyester mesh and TPU outer shell offers high abrasion resistance, backed by reinforced toe and heel areas and an integrated IPA ankle protector for impact resistance; the Torrent is certified to Level 1 across all four test categories.
A quick-release lacing system delivers a snug fit in seconds and makes the boots easy to get on and off, helped by an easy-on puller; small touches that make a big difference, especially after a long day on the road.
The dual-density outsole provides grip on tricky terrain, as well as firm footing on motorcycle pegs. Reflective strips on the heel and sides improve visibility in low light - a safety bonus on and off two wheels.
The Torrent is available in EU sizes 39-47 (UK 5-12), in a choice of three colourways, priced at £139.99 including VAT.
